wrist warmers

Posted by Fairy Yarnmother on August 14, 2009

It’s not the right season to think about how to keep your hands warm, but I’ve been making lots of these little knits to sell at Wisconsin Sheep and Wool festival in September and they’re working out well. I’ve been using the left-overs from making socks, and also using up the last bits on my coned yarns, to make them. They work really nice for arthritis and carpal tunnel problems because they add a little support to your wrists as well. I’ve been using them in air conditioned rooms and they’ve helped to keep my hands working. I have arthritis. They take up a bit of time to make, but I think it’s worth it. Well, here’s some pictures.

These are very warm and lovely to wear, just right for my cold hands and fingers.

  2. Thanks, I love them and wear them all the time! :)
